Bridges and Viaducts

We inspect bridges and viaducts, assessing infrastructure safety with state-of-the-art technology

Infrastructure Design

Progetti e Servizi, boasting a heterogeneous and integrated team comprising expert engineers in infrastructure design, level 2 and level 3 bridge inspectors, and highly qualified technicians for surveying works of art, presents itself as a single entity capable of performing all the activities necessary to assess the state of deterioration and safety of works of art.

The Infrastructure Design Area and the bridge inspection teams work in synergy to guarantee a correct assessment of the state of conservation of the work, the investigation plan and the drafting of a specific maintenance programme necessary to guarantee the performance standard of the work.

Advanced Surveys with 3D Technologies

The use of innovative technologies such as laser scanners, lidar and drones allow for a detailed survey of the work, the acquisition and archiving of detailed images of the individual structural components of the work, and the creation of 3D digital twins.

Smart inspections with AI

The use of proprietary software based on machine learning techniques enables the automatic recognition of existing defects in terms of type, location, extent and severity, providing valuable and objective support to the qualified inspector.

The use of the digital twin 3D in the BIM environment for the storage of information on the structure and that acquired during the inspection phases guarantees usability and sharing at all levels of the design and to all actors involved.

Advanced Structural Analysis

The use of digital twin, 3D and FEM guarantees the correct assessment of the behaviour of the structure being inspected and the evaluation of safety up to level 4, also depending on the actual state of degradation of the building materials and defects found.

We carry out the census and visual inspections of existing works of art, identifying defects, analysing the risks detected and classifying them on a territorial scale. We also assess their safety in accordance with the LL.G. 22.
